cave concept DESIGN BY LIZ GILBERT

ABOUT
As a designer, I am passionate about storytelling and creating spaces that reflect the personalities of my clients. I received my degree in fine art from Parsons School of Design and have worked as an artist in many different mediums, from interior decorating and styling to art, photography, and film, but the common denominator has always been a love for storytelling. For me, design is not merely about arranging furniture or selecting color palettes; it's personal. It begins with getting to know who my client is. What are their goals and how do they want to get there? What are their passions? What makes them tick? Then the fun begins. And together we turn those dreams into tangible, lived realities.

My projects range from lodges in Africa to private residences, New York apartments, mountain retreats, warehouses and even a treehouse, but what is always consistent is my obsession with coordination, harmony and practical design. I believe that good design is one of the best investments we can make, not only in our property but in our personal happiness. Great design brings joy, inspiration, and value. It takes us places.
Through my work, I aim to empower others to inhabit spaces that reflect who they are, and to realize their maximum potential.
